Pike Lake Carp Fest 2022
Even easier this year...
Starts now and runs until the carp (or prizes) are gone so let's get going!
- Head to the Pike Lake State Park on Pike Lake near Hartford
- Legally catch or shoot as many carp, gar and suckers as you can**
- Take pictures of your fish with the Carp Fest 2022 sign***
- Post your pictures on the club Facebook page (or email them)
- Win Prizes !!! Everyone posting pictures has a chance to win!
The Pike Lake Sportsman's Club wishes, above all, a safe and enjoyable time for all participants. Most of all have fun!
The prizes...
$50 per boat that submit a qualifying picture (see details below)
$25 per boat bonus if at least one fish exceeds 30 pounds
$100 raffle at the end of the contest (one entry per boat per day)
The details...
*Bowfishing boats are common but anyone can submit pictures for prizes using any style of boat or from the shore as long as they are from Pike Lake.
**Legally catch or shoot carp, gar and suckers anyway you like. Take pictures with the Carp Fest sign near the boat launch at State Park and post your pictures to win prizes. You must take all fish with you to use or dispose of properly. Please do not leave any fish anywhere at the State Park. We are not providing any fish collection or disposal for your fish as in prior years, they are 100% your responsibility to remove from the premises.
***Pictures posted must include the Carp Fest 2022 sign at the State Park in clear view to be eligible for prizes. Send a picture of at least one carp over 30 pounds on a scale to qualify for the bonus. The Sportsmans Club has the right to authenticate or reject any picture at their sole discretion.
Pike Lake "No Wake" hours... No person shall operate a motorboat at a speed in an excess of a slow-no-wake speed between the hours of 8:00 P.M., or legal sunset, whichever comes sooner, to 10:00 A.M., except that on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays no person shall operate a motorboat at a speed in excess of slow-no-wake speed between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 10:00 A.M.
Please obey all State of Wisconsin boating laws, DNR fishing regulations and the Town of Hartford ordanances.
